This evening, I was leisurely browsing on Google reader and Bloglines to one of my feeds “The Medium is the Message”.
Croquet is a new virtual social networking site, in the ilk of Second Life. However, it is nice and “open” and the fact that it will allow many collaborators is absolutely thrilling.
Who knows? Maybe I’ll finally get in and hooked to one of these environments. I think a good feature is the video at their Croquet Wiki. Check it out if you have time!

It sounds pretty cool, although not being a developer I’m not sure how much use I’ll be able to make of it before it’s more focused on end-users.
